Facebook and Messenger
Connect your Page inbox
Section titled “Connect your Page inbox”Facebook and Messenger need a paid plan. Upgrade first, then connect your Page. Paying does not turn on automatic replies. Free still gives you private previews and your Creator Page.
Open Connections, choose Messenger, and sign in with the Facebook Page you manage. People’s messages then arrive in Messages, and approved replies can go out within 24 hours of their latest message. Loresta does not connect a personal Facebook inbox.
Wait until the connection says ready before you rely on it. Reconnect if your Page access or permissions change.
Comment replies
Section titled “Comment replies”Loresta can react to comments on your Page. It reads the comment to see if it matches your approved automation, privately sends your approved link, and can also post a public reply and like the comment. It records matched comments in the conversation and does not import old ones.
What happens depends on your Page and on each individual comment, which Facebook checks at the moment of sending. Use only the actions offered for your account in the Automation tab. Read the trigger, reply, link and each public action before you turn it on.
Set up an approved comment reply
Section titled “Set up an approved comment reply”- Pick your Facebook Page in Automation. It must allow both messages and comments.
- Choose Someone comments, then set keywords and, if you like, one post.
- Choose the link and write the private reply.
- Under Post and comment actions, optionally turn on a public reply or Like the Facebook comment.
- Save, test, then read the exact actions before you turn it on.
The first replies use your approved wording. Follow-up by AI is separate and only works after the person replies. A like is just a like: it does not start a conversation or give you permission to message.
If a later step fails after the private reply went out, read the recorded result instead of sending the whole thing again. A test never contacts Facebook, so it cannot confirm a particular comment’s permissions.
Messaging limits
Section titled “Messaging limits”A private reply to a comment is different from a public reply. Facebook allows one private reply per comment, within seven days. A longer chat needs the person to reply and Facebook’s response window. A like does not open that window.
Do not treat a comment or a like as permission to send unrelated messages. Keep each automation tied to what the person did.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Make sure the connection is your Page, not a personal account.
- Check that the specific comment allows the action. A deleted comment cannot be acted on.
- Reconnect after your Page permissions change.
- Check that the automation is on, approved and has replies left before you retry on a real comment.
