Discord
Discord turns a confirmed Loresta payment into community access. Loresta does not read your server’s general conversations.
Set up
Section titled “Set up”- Add the app. Sign in as someone who manages the server and approve the Loresta app.
- Choose where it goes. Pick a supporter channel, an optional fallback role, and a role for each offer. The roles must sit below the Loresta app’s own role.
- Post the supporter menu. Publish or refresh one menu with your Loresta links, perks and a private access check.
- Supporters link themselves. A supporter proves their Loresta receipt, signs in to Discord, joins your server in one click and gets the role for their offer.
What Loresta asks for
Section titled “What Loresta asks for”The app needs to see the channel, send messages, add links, and manage roles. Supporters give permission to share their Discord name and join your server, and Loresta uses that only after checking their receipt. Loresta does not ask to read message content.
Commands
Section titled “Commands”Type /loresta for a private menu: supporters can see offers, goals and perks and check or repair their role, and server managers get a setup checklist. The shortcuts /support, /goal and /perks post the matching card in the channel, and /access opens the private access check. Posts never ping anyone.
Roles and refunds
Section titled “Roles and refunds”Every supporter role must stay below the Loresta app’s highest role in Discord. You can match each offer to its own role and keep a fallback role for the rest. When a payment is refunded, disputed or repaired, Loresta updates the role to match and can remove it.
The supporter menu
Section titled “The supporter menu”The menu links back to your Creator Page, shows perks or goal progress, offers a private access check, and can show anonymous recent support. Amounts and names stay private unless the supporter chooses otherwise.
Troubleshooting Discord
Section titled “Troubleshooting Discord”- If no roles show, move the Loresta role above the roles you want to give out.
- If the menu will not post, check that Loresta can see the channel, send messages and add links there.
- If one-click joining fails, open the supporter’s Loresta receipt again, reconnect Discord and retry the access check.
- If a role does not arrive, check that Loresta can manage roles and its role is above the supporter role, then use Repair supporter roles in Connections.
- If the setup looks stale, disconnect Discord in Connections and add the app again.
- If commands fail with an error, contact support with the time and what you tried.
