Social inboxes

Connect your inboxes from the dashboard in Connections. These connections are for you only; they are not a way for other developers to sign in.

Free has no Instagram, Facebook, X or TikTok inbox: you cannot connect, draft for or send to them. All four need a paid plan. If you move down to Free, your connections pause until you upgrade, and your conversations and saved answers stay. Connecting an account never turns on automatic sending. You review and turn on each rule separately.

X is an inbox for reading direct messages, preparing private drafts and sending replies you review. Loresta never sends X replies on its own, on any plan.

You sign in to X and approve access to read your messages and write replies. Loresta renews that access automatically. If renewal fails, the connection shows that it needs you to reconnect.

Instagram works for professional accounts. What the account allows decides whether Loresta can read and reply to messages. Personal accounts cannot send. The Instagram guide covers comment replies, story and DM triggers, and setup.

Messenger connects the Facebook Page you manage. Replies are possible only when the Page allows private messages. The Facebook and Messenger guide covers Page comments and the difference between public replies, private replies and likes.

TikTok brings comments on your own videos into Messages. TikTok has no direct messages or private replies for apps, so every reply Loresta sends there is posted publicly under the comment, where anyone watching can read it.

  • Each comment opens its own conversation, and Loresta drafts a reply as it does elsewhere. Your reply settings decide whether it waits for you.
  • A reply can be at most 1,200 characters.
  • New comments usually arrive within five minutes. Comments you write yourself do not come in.
  • Comment-to-DM automations, likes, hiding and mentions are not available on TikTok.
  • If you connected TikTok before October 13, 2026, connect it again to receive comments.
State Meaning What to do
Not connected No account is linked Start a connection from Connections
Ready The account is linked and working Check your inbox and automation settings
Reconnect Access ran out or changed Sign in and approve again
Disconnected Loresta must no longer use the account Connect again only if you choose to

If the app says access is gone, use Reconnect and read the reason shown. A short outage can simply retry. Choosing Disconnect stops Loresta using the account right away, even if the app is slow to confirm. A disconnect you chose is never undone automatically. Only you can connect again.

Loresta keeps the connected account’s name, its status, the permissions you gave and the encrypted access it needs. Nothing a screen or a report shows includes your sign-in details. When you disconnect, Loresta stops using the account right away and removes what it no longer needs.

Importing past messages is optional and depends on what the app allows. Imported messages are deleted after 30 days. Some connections cannot share past messages, so there are no sent messages for Loresta to learn your voice from.

  • Threads, LinkedIn and YouTube are not inboxes in Loresta.
  • Google Business is for review replies, not messages, and is not available yet.
  • Posting is separate from messaging and needs its own permission.
